At the heart of our story is Ivan, a passionate craftsman who began his journey in the shoemaking industry at just 13 years old. Starting as an apprentice at a local shoe factory, Ivan mastered both traditional craftsmanship and advanced German shoemaking technology. Over 22 years of dedication, he gained invaluable experience in shoemaking and factory management.
In 2005, Ivan turned his expertise into reality by establishing his own factory. Initially focusing on crafting casual leather footwear under the John Barry’s brand, Ivan also became a trusted OEM partner for renowned brands like Bonia, Scholl, Lee Cooper, and Dr. Cardin.
Recognizing the growing demand for industrial footwear, Ivan expanded into the safety shoe market in 2007, launching his in-house brand Big Truck and manufacturing safety shoes for other notable brands such as Pawsu, West Rider Safety, and Kicker’s Safety.
In 2022, our commitment to quality and safety was solidified with the achievement of SIRIM & Dosh certification, a testament to our adherence to the highest standards in the industry.
